A classy farewell.
So after a few weeks of bashing NBC, and all things related, and endless speculation on what antics he’d pull for his last show, Conan went out in utter style - if you ask me. What class. What composure. What grace. He closed the show with Neil Young, Will Ferrell and Tom Hanks. Wow.
I learned a few things about Conan tonight. Most specifically, that I like him more than I thought I did....

And its no wonder. Besides being under the weather, there’s so many important things going on in the world tonight. For instance, the Hope for Haiti relief efforts, encouraged by George Clooney. The night proved moving and genuine. My wish is that those involved and the evenings efforts raised amounts that were beyond expected. To those that gave their voice, time and support - good on ya....

A little thought goes a long way.
I logged in to facebook tonight expecting to see a fury of status updates that reflected on the holiday season behind us, and the new work week ahead of us. Instead, I stumbled upon something way better. A friend recently blogged about her jump in to 2010. I found it so refreshing and such an inspirational read that I not only had to paraphrase, but I’m revising my resolutions as we speak....
